Description |
Sash made of red and green plaid in the same tartan pattern and material as the matching kilt (.1) with self-fringe at ends. This uniform was worn by Brock Stephenson who was born to William George Stephanson and Margaret (Falconer) Stephanson on 13 March 1876. On 28 June 1905, Stephenson married Alice May (McCuen). Together the couple had four children: David William (b. 1906), Edward Theodore (b. 1907), Alice Alexandrea (1909-1985) and George Brock (b. 1912). Stephenson worked as a woodworker and carpenter until 1928 when he became the foreman Taylor-Forbes Company. Stephanson died on 22 May 1951 and is interred at the Woodlawn Memorial Park. |
