.7 & . 8 A pair of "Strathcona-style" brown leather, knee-high, lace-up riding boots. Each boot has 14 pairs of rivets for laced-instep. But, each boot also has 7 pairs of rivets at the top outer-side for laces. These gussets on the upper calf were designed to improve the fit of the boot around the leg. Metal stirrups are strapped to the backs of the boot. The heels and toes of the soles of the boots have pieces of metal shaped like crescent moons. |

The heels are 3cm. high. The laced insteps (14prs of rivets) are c.24cm. The gussets (7 prs. of rivets) on the upper half of the leg are 11.5cm. long. The metal pieces on the heels of the boots are 5cm X 2cm. The metal pieces on the toes of the sole are 4cm. X 1.75cm. |
