Description |
Leather pouch belonging to A. McCrae. Brown leather rectangular pouch with diamond pattern. The pouch folds open to create a pocket on either side. Each pocket has a flap covering and smaller defined pockets inside. The pockets in the left section has a scalloped edge along the top and green two parallel lines of green stitching. There is text handwritten in black ink throughout the inside: down the middle between the two pockets "Joseph Fulford", under the flap to the left "322979 Sr. A. McCrae Canadian Field Artillery", and under the right flap "Return to 322979 Sr. A. McCrae Canadian Field Artillery Or Mr. Jno (John) McCrae Ariss Ontario". |
